Download jukebox-native-player-0.4.0.tar.gz

Install in one step

On the player computer, run this (use your NAS’s address instead of 192.168.1.20; add --remote for a USB IR remote):

curl -fsSL https://player.jukeboxjamz.com/get.sh | sudo sh -s -- --controller 192.168.1.20

It downloads the latest player, checks it against its SHA-256 checksum and runs the installer, which ends by showing the player’s API key. Running the same command again upgrades the player and keeps its key.

Or install by hand

tar xzf jukebox-native-player-0.4.0.tar.gz
cd jukebox-native-player-0.4.0
sudo sh install.sh --controller 192.168.1.20

Then add the player in Jukebox Jamz: More › Devices › Add device by IP, type Jukebox Native Streamer, its address, port 8000 and the API key. Full steps are in the Jukebox Jamz guide Advanced & Integrations, chapter 2.

What’s in this version

Shows the player's Wi-Fi signal, network and MAC address in Jukebox Jamz, and lets Jukebox Jamz add, delete and reorder the player's presets. The remote's Next and Previous step through your Favorite Streams when one is playing.
